I am thinking about getting the three year plan with them. That's about how long I could hold out before having to get the new version. I love that it covers accidental damage. Definitely worried about breaking that big old screen. I have cats and worried they might knock it off when using it as a digital photo frame.
Get the one year. You know deep down inside that you have no idea what the next rev will be and if it is awesome enough you will buy again next year...

A SquareTrade Warranty for 2 years is 95.99.
A Worth Ave Group Insurance Policy for 2 years is 95.00 even.
Squaretrade does not cover theft. I also don't think they cover fire, flood, or vandalism (like someone else whacking it with a bat like those kids on that youtube video)
I also do not believe they will cover it if something happens while you are out of the country, whereas Worth Ave Group does.
Also, I believe, and I could be wrong, but if you file a claim with Square Trade, you no longer have your warranty for the rest of the two years. You get ONE CLAIM ONLY.
With Worth Ave Group, if you file a claim, you still have Insurance on your iPad (or iPhone) for the rest of the term (whether it's 1, 2, or 3 years)
There are other differences like when you must buy the insurance and how long until you can file a claim. Worth Ave Group doesn't have any restrictions for that. I'm not sure what SquareTrade's current policy is.
