I removed Intego from my Mac Catalina 10.15.6.
However one file keeps coming back!
The file is Intego - extensions - NetBarrierMonitor-NetbarrierNetwork-NetbarrierProcess.
I move it into my Bin and delete, but it comes back!!
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Intego's VirusBarrier free scanner on the app store is all I need now too. I think they've shot themselves in the foot with that!

It specifically says in their user guide to run the installer (which will run un-installer if package is present), otherwise files will remain on your system.
I recently removed and installed from my mac, as real time scanning stopped working following a recent update...... (I am on Mojave though).
Just got the scanner from app store as a stop-gap......?

OK, so you used the Intego uninstaller.

Do you see the files in /Library/Extensions (Finder/Go/Go to Folder)?

So your stressing about your AV software not being removed, and then installing some other ‘deep system checker’ to see if it‘s gone......?
As long as you trust etrecheckpro.

As long as you trust etrecheckpro.

It is as trusted as any software can be. Standard tool for diagnosing system problems. Lots of posts recommending it.

In Entrecheck/clicking on the software icon what do you see?

In post #1, image indigo.png, it looks as if you have a finder window open with the directory extensions. The complete path is not shown. Is it /Library/Extensions
