I have a 2011 Mac Mini and am wanting to install a SSD that 1 will fit correctly and 2 is compatible/stable. The 180GB Intel 330 is supercheap at the moment so I would like to buy 1 in the hope of installing it in the Mini. Has anyone had success with this model or can anyone recomend a more suitable SSD? I'd love to know.:)

I cannot speak for the Intel 330 but I can say I have in my Mac Mini Server TWO SSD drives. In my case, I purchased them from OWC and also OWC had video to show how to install. Only caveat was that it can be easy to damage the IR connector but other than that - moved right along and my Mini Server is doing just fine.

I don't have any experience with the 330, but I haven't heard of any problems with it.

Personally, I have an OCZ Vertex 4 in my Win7 machine that runs BEAUTIFULLY. I have heard of no problems with the Vertex 4 and the Mac Mini, as long as the drive is 60 or 128gb. The 256 and 512 seem to have some issues on ML. but those issues are being fixed and will be done in a bit (or so OCZ says) lol. Thankfully I have the 128gb so I don't have to worry.
