Where can I find the mac drivers for the Intel 82574L Ethernet Card? Currently it is v 2.72.
There seems to be a dead zone in the new house that is freezing up my video meetings on zoom. I starting using 'Powerline AV' by D-Link to move my signal from the router to the back of the house and that reduced the problem but didn't resolve it. I tried to max out the LAN speed on the Router to 1000Mbs but the mac didn't recognize it. I'm looking for the latest driver for the Ethernet card and a step by step install.

Mac Pro (early 2009 > 2010 EFI 5,1)
High Sierra 10.13.6
4.46 GHz 6-core Intel Xeon
48 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 ECC
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 2048 MB
with Parallels and W10

Thank you for your time,

You are looking at the wrong thing. macOS already has the most recent drivers internally, there is no drivers to be installed since it's driver supported by Apple itself and used on several Macs.

It's a very mature and EOL Ethernet controller, driver has not been updated in years by Intel, last Windows version to have drivers is Windows 8.

So it's safe to say this card can't do 1000Mbs? Plugging in an ethernet adaptor that is rated at 1000Mbs won't change that either. It looks like I need a new Ethernet card.

You understood wrong, the driver and controller works perfectly fine, it's a extremely well sold Ethernet controller being produced from 2008 to some months ago, your problem is elsewhere or you have a defective Ethernet controller on your Mac Pro backplane.

I don't know how to research that problem and I don't have the time to figure it out.
What if I plug an ethernet adapter into the USB3 card? Will that help the live video run smoother?

Test your infrastructure before spending money. Mac Pros have two Ethernet controllers, fully independent, if you have the same problem with both, your problem is probably cabling or something else.

my suggestion is:

buy 20 or 30 metres of ethernet cable (its really cheap on ebay) and connect your Mac directly to the router.

this way you can trouble shoot the problem.
