I've been having a recurring issue lately where I disconnect my 2020 13" MacBook Pro from my CalDigit Dock, I then wait a second and close the lid. The next time I go to open the lid I hear the startup sound as the system crashed and is being rebooted. Only message I get is that an Intel Crash Log has been created due to an unexpected reset.

Anyone have any idea how to track down the issue here? I've tried resetting the SMC and taken the usual steps but same issue seems to be having. I've also noticed lately that often times my MacBook non longer recognizes devices connected to my dock, so I have to reboot the MacBook and then it correctly displays all the various devices connected to my dock.

I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks!

did you try closing the lid -- disconnect dock -- reconnecting dock -- opening the lid?

It looks like it resets/crashes as soon as I unplug the cable to the docking. It doesn't always happen but happens enough times that it's slowly driving me crazy!!
