I was loving Mountain Lion till DP3 and now with DP4, the sluggish UI of Lion has returned. Apple probably realised that they have to hold back some performance to help dumb ****s to upgrade.

This is 2010 MBP.

id say that its a bug. For me the only laggy part is when we switch spaces. other than that mission control is better and the scrolling is FANTASTIC. id just wait for the GM!

I'm using ML DP4 with Intel HD 3000, and it works perfectly.

Just wait for a future update, maybe it's a common 2010 MBP problem and Apple will release a fix.

I have just been using dp4 on my 2011 air with hd3000 and the animations are noticeably more laggy than on lion.

This is my first time using mountain lion so don't know if this is worse than the earlier developer previews. Hope this gets fixed!

I noticed the same thing on my mid 2009 macbook pro, everything is laggy and it wasn't like this in previous previews. Let's wait for the final release
