Hello again guys. I have another question about the Intel iMac. Now that I've read the review that was released on cnet.com today, the only problem that I see is me trying to use programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator smoothly. In Cnet's tests, Photoshop ran very, very slowly on the new Intel iMac 20".
Here is a quote from their review:
"But if you want to run Photoshop or a nonnative video-editing program such as Sorenson Squeeze, we highly recommend you wait until the software catches up before purchasing a new iMac Core Duo."
I do not understand this quote. Why would I have to wait before purchasing the new iMac Core Duo if all Adobe has to do is update their Photoshop to run perfectly on the new Intels? I don't understand why I can't just buy the Intel now and just wait for the updated software to release. Do they have to change something in the hardware?
Thanks so much. You guys usually reply in under 5 minutes.
