I have a first generation 17" Intel iMac, and one vertical line of pixels arent working properly. I am attaching a picture of my display. As you can tell, the line appears pink, and goes directly in between the two Celtics. The line seems to go away when the display is white in that area. Im guess this means that the Red portion of the RGB is somewhat stuck in full brightness. Also, if I take a screen shot, the line does not appear. If anyone has any suggestions on a possible fix, I would be very grateful.

I have this problem on my PowerBook G4 and it is a physical problem with the connections on the screen that control the pixels. The only fix is replacement.
