Hey.

Got my new Intel iMac on Monday - 20" 256mb vram, wireless kb and mouse, all else stock.

I have some issues, mainly with airport.

I setup my Linksys wireless router to allow the iMac to join my network, and briefly last night, it did - connected, and worked fine.

However, today, it hasn't been able to see the airport network at all.

When I restarted the computer, there was no airport status in the menu bar.

Internet connect told me there was "No Airport Hardware detected".

I have succesfully connected before, but now it appears it is not recognising the Airport card.

Also, I have the video tearing issues - but I believe it is the build of OS X that is to blame for them.

Teh meh. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Do they still include "Hardware Test" CDs with the new machines? I'd suggest running that if you got one.

Hardware test CD shows nothing wrong.

It does, however, tell me my vram is 128mb, when its 256, and it doesn't detect an Airport card.

It hasn't just disappeared! Meh..

Apart from the issues, I love it. Beautiful screen, fast, and what a design. I will be sad if this has to go to Apple, hence me asking here first. :(
