Hello,
I would like to ask to anyone that has an Intel Mac and uses Books if they are having troubles reading books.
My experience: pages turn very slow, going forward and back, and even functions like bookmarks or indexes require some time before working.
I have a 2019 16'' MacBook Pro and Monterey was reinstalled from scratch less than a month ago.
I have filed a Feedback Report with Apple but if you could submit it you too it would be very helpful!

If you have a Silicon Mac and you're experiecing this issue, you're welcome too! It's just that I don't have such machines and cannot test on them.

No problems with PDF files, only .epub (Book Store or external sources).

Thanks

This is new behavior? If so when did it start?

What does activity monitor show when this is happening - cpu, memory useage?

What % of your boot disk is free?
