Hey Guys. I am about to run out to BestBuy or CompUSA because I need a microphone for my Mac Mini Core Solo. I was looking at BestBuy.com and it looks like there are a few differnt type of connecters. I would prefer a Line In mic. I see there is a port on the back of the mini with an icon that looks like to triangles connected by a circle, is that the line in? Which are better, USB or Line In? By the way, I am looking for a headset. Can anyone tell me what to look for or point some out at BestBuy.com or CompUSA.com so I can just do In-Store-Pickup?

Line in isn't amplified. Those are mostly used when digitizing cassettes or LPs - something with it's own volume control. I'd go for USB if you can. Or better yet, look for a bluetooth headset (headphones and Mic). Don't know how much those run though.

Hey. I checked the prices on Bluetooth and they are all $100-$200. I wasn't looking to spend that much but that would be cool. Anyway, are all USB HeadSets Plug & Play or are their drivers?

I have a Logitech USB microphone, and it works just fine. It was less than $30 ($20 on Amazon), and was recognized with no problem whatsoever.
