So I ordered a core duo mac mini b/c I believed the (false) rumors that there were going to be no updates til next year. a week after I get it, macbook hello!

So I think I'll take the 15% restocking hit and return it.

Anyways, I ordered RAM for the mini, and was wondering if the mini's RAM is the same as the macbook.

You are incorrect.

The iMac, Mac mini, MacBook and MacBook Pro all use the same RAM.

200 pin, SO-DIMMs of 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (PC2-5300).

Only the Mac Pro uses regular-sized RAM, all other Macs use the small form-factor stuff and it's interchangeable between the machines.

Okay, cool.
I have an old G4 mini here and it uses regular sized ram, figured they didnt change it in the intel versions.
