I know with the scissor keyboard MacBooks a battery replacement would mean a whole new top case including the keyboard, speakers etc.

Does anyone know if this is still the case with the 16" Intel MacBook Pro that doesn't have a scissor keyboard? I'm looking at replacing the battery but it also needs a new speaker.

Intel Macbook 2018. Top case was replaced and as far as I remember, I got a new keyboard with the scissor keys.
Only later after a few months realised they had installed a US keyboard and had to have a new UK replacement = again with the newer keyboard

Thanks! I couldn't find a clear answer anywhere. I don't mind replacing the speaker myself.
Speakers are part of the top case on 2016-2019 15”, I would assume as well for a 16”. A quick look at top cases and I’m 99% sure, as they are also glued down.
