intel macbook with starcraft = crazy fan!

Hey all, after the SC2 announcment I wanted to put the original back on the computer. It works fine on the macbook, however it takes ALOT of processing power to run it. Is there a patch for the intel? Or is there a setting to make it run smoother with less processing power? Thanks!!

It maxes out the CPU because of the way it was originally written.

That sucks...I want to play it sooo bad. But the fan is so annoying and I dont want it going max speed for like an hour or however long I play

i wonder if I put it on bootcamp if it will not be as bad....

It would probably be a lot better under Windows XP via Bootcamp. It would seem that Blizzard has no intention of making a patch for SC for Intel Macs and who can blame them as it would divert time and resources away from SC2 with no financial gain.
