I am wondering if any other Intel mini owners are having this problem with the display. It seems that there maybe a glitch with the display output. I took this screen shot with grab and it captured the error of the lines in the text in the bottom third of the page so I know its not my LCD if grab captured it. I am running it at 1280x1024. This does not happen all the time but I am not sure what to think about it and just wanted to get some input on this.

Thanks guys

That seems to be the problem, its Safari. I don't get that problem when I use Camino (U.B). Thanks for the Info.

don't get too excited just yet. i've had happening with the Finder as well, more than once. i'll try to take a screenshot next time instead of just mumbling swear words. it's not just Safari though.

Oh really?? I wonder what the problem is, bad drivers ? Or a bad Mini ? I know my B.T. reception is less then 10ft. Is that normal ?

I have had the same problem. It also does not happen all the time. If I scroll the bad text off the screen and back again, the text then clears up. I only have the Safari browser, so that may be the problem. So it is probably not the mini itself.

Has anyone reported this to Apple?

Apple Support

I contacted Apple Telephone Support about this today. I directed them to this forum and the tech guy saw the original post. He said it was new to him and he had no idea what was causing the glitch but he would look into it. Hopefully it will work it's way through the system and maybe someone will come up with a fix. It wouldn't hurt for others having this problem to contact Apple to let them know this is not limited to just a few systems.

This happens to me all the time ... on my Linux box. I even have the feeling I have seen it on a winPC. I can't remember if it happens with my Mac, since I think I've got so used to it, I don't even notice it any more. I just scroll up and down until the screen view is fixed.

I don't think it's a precursor of any serious hardware problem.

Well, that doesn't help you, but it's not only a OS X problem.

I've seen a similar problem. Not with the main pane, but with the right-hand scroll bar. It wasn' completely redrawing the blue lozenge, resulting in an appearance a bit like screen tearing, but just in the scroll bar area.

I can't be sure whether it was with Camino or Safari and haven't seen it happen for a couple of weeks now. I also find Camino to be unstable - it has quit unexpectedly three time now while I have been away from the machine. Version 1.0 universal.
