I was just copying a Textedit file by way of holding ALT and dragging the file icon holding the left mouse button. The original file is named "Orders week 44". The new file automatically changed its name to "Orders week 45". I was stunned upon seeing this, and it of course repeated it self when I tried once more, this time to "Orders week 46". When did OS X become this intelligent? Or is it just a coincident?

Ok, so maybe the OS isn't that intelligent after all, it's just appending like it's always done. The only difference this time is that I had a clean number at the end of the file name, something I usually don't. I must've had a moment of severe absent-mindedness:p
