I just installed Intelliscreen to use the 10 day trial. I like how it's got the weather and everything on the lockscreen but what kinda sucks is how I have the mail option set to "only when new" and it still shows "0 unread" on the lockscreen.

Is this a glitch? I have the SMS part set the same and there's nothing showing up for that.

Where can I download it? And how do I install it?

Go the thread I posted above, download the Homescreen files. Also install StatusNotifier via Cydia. SSH the Homescreen main folder in to your Themes folder on your phone

To answer your question: Try going to Intelliscreen--> Mail--> and uncheck "tap to check mail." You should no longer see the "0 unread" message on the screen.

Heh?

Use Homescreen...it's better and free-er

With Homescreen, can you view your mail and text messages from your lockscreen without even unlocking your phone? Does it have a QuickLook feature? Customizable layout?
I don't think so.

Intelliscreen is most definitely better.

I couldn't care less, really. Homescreen is free, seals the deal for me.

Intelliscreen is also a battery drainer, and not to mention has caused a lot of problems for people in the past. If you're really too lazy to take the .25 milliseconds to slide to unlock your phone (heck, you can even download a TAP to unlock theme from Cydia) and check your SMS/Emails, you probably shouldn't own an iPhone.

It's not the .25 milliseconds to slide to unlock that's the issue. I frankly couldn't care less about sms, email, rss feeds, or weather either. BUT, it's important for me to be able to see my upcoming appointments without going into the calendar. Another program that allows for this is RemindYou, but it's not nearly as visually p-leasing as intelliscreen.

Same issues. Cannot get the mail to say anything but 0 unread. Tried everything on the FAQs and the tap to check mail. Any other ideas?

Ok i figured part of the problem. The reason my new mail does not show up is because for some reason the Intelliscreen is trying to sync with my SENT mail. I changed the setting from "new mail" to "10 most recent" and all my sent items showed up. But can't get it to see my Exchange Inbox.

Problem Solved. I had to delete my Exchange account and re-create it and now everything works great. My iPhone is now complete.

One feature request. I would love if the IntelleScreen could stay on, only while plugged in to a power source.

The layout can be customized via HTML/CSS. Granted, it's not drag and drop, but it's certainly doable.

You obviously don't use the iPhone for business. :p
