iPhone Intelliscreen status bar

Please forgive this noob post. I am coming from Android and desparately trying to replicate some of the features. I am on 8.1 and have installed Intelliscreen. I know it does lots of things but all I want is an 'envelope' notification in the status bar when email arrives. I dont like the whole thing on the screen but I dont want to unlock the phone either just to see whether I have a message/email/missed call.

I have enabled all the settings in Intelliscreen but no envelope appears in the status bar when messages appear. Can someone please tell me how to get it to work?

Also, is there an app to give me battery % in the status bar?

And finally I have installed a new dialer (dial+) but whenever I get a missed call it reverts to the stock dialer which means I have to use that again. Any ideas please??

battery % is stock, just go to settings, general, usage, turn on battery percent

for notifications in the status bar there was a tweak way back in the day called opennotifier not sure if its updated

I would also like to see an OpenNotifier-type tweak. I'm not a fan of IntelliscreenX so it would be awesome if there was a tweak that could give my only the status bar icons for missed calls, emails, texts, etc.

I checked for OpenNotifier and it hasn't been updated since 2012.
