this is great their might finally be hope for UMPC's after all only took 5-6 years to address the technical problems of the UMPC ie poor performance, low battery life, and high price. Now the dream of carrying a full computer in your pocket might be less of dream and more of a reality.

I don't know. The reference platform looks pretty good -- next generation speeds in many aspects and low power consumption in many usage profiles. And in the Netbook arena, Atom has a demonstrated track record of making good on battery life promises.....
