if i were to run a time capsule with my primary itunes library set to be on the time capsule drive how will that work with an apple tv.
i have an intel mini and an ibook g4 running a wireless g network off an airport express with airtunes. i want to add a second airtunes connection and i'm thinking that using an apple tv to stream video at the same time might be a cool solution.
my thought is towards whether or not the wireless network will be fast enough to stream content at g speeds rather than n. if i pick up a time capsule and set that as my primary itunes library how will that work. i could put the time capsule and the apple tv together (wired connection) .. in this configuration is content going to stream wirelessly through the computer that i'm controlling the library with or will it stream directly from the time capsule drive to the apple tv.
the other question is are you able to partition the time capsule drive? ie 500 with 200 for itunes & 300 for time machine and in this arrangement could the 300 gb partition be backing up the itunes segment of the same drive.
thanks in advance.
