Does anyone have any tips on interactive authoring?
Similar to Macromedia Director?
I'm looking to develop some for work but haven't found anything that would get me started.
And no it's not an excuse to get extra iPads at work
Yes, like you said, this forum is for iPad *users*. Yours sound more like a developer question -- I, for one, have no idea what "interactive authoring" even is!

Sorry folks for the confusion. Ive moved the question over to Mac Programming.
Just in case, Interactive Authoring is when you create simple applications like games, books etc.
Back in the day, CD-Rom interactivity ruled and a great example was Myst.
Started as a Hyper-Card app/game that had a huge following.
Thanks folks for chiming in and showing some interest
Outside of xcode and coding applications from the ground up using objective C, there are currently no other "authoring" environments that allow you develop content for the ipad.
Adobe has developed a set of tools to develop "interactive magazines" for the ipad. See the Wired magazine app in the app store. These tools will probably be released to the public in beta around september. The interaction that can be done with these tools is quite limited however.
