With the previous generation of Macbooks, there was a significant premium for the Black Macbook apparently due only to the different color. The only hardware difference between it and the middle-range white macbook was 20gigs of harddrive space, worth about 50 dollars. After upgrading the hard drive of the white to match the black, there was still a significant 150 dollar price difference.
This round, after upgrading the white-book to the specs of the black (120gig hard drive) there is a much smaller price difference. It seems to be somewhere around 20-25 dollars.
