Interfacing a Mac formatted HD with home theater system

Iomega has a Screenplay TV Link that allows you to hook your USB HD (FAT32 & NFTS formatted) to your TV, which then can be used to watch ripped DVDs, home movies, etc. Has anyone run across a similar device that will work with a Mac formatted USB HD?

This Iomega device is much more economical and flexible than the TV/ITunes solution.

Although not an answer to your specific question, keep in mind that FAT32 is fully supported by OS X.

It probably will much easier to just get another external drive, format it as FAT32 and use that with a device like that Iomega than it would be to to find a corresponding device supporting other systems. Possibly cheaper as well.

The 4 GiB per file limit on FAT32 shouldn't be a problem.
