intermittent internet connectivity w/ full 3g signal

iPhone 3g w/ 3.0 OS -- had it for about a month.

however, with full 3g signal I've been having intermittent problems with using Safari + apps the use internet. anyone have any incite? this is so ****ing annoying. note this doesn't happen with EDGE. thanks
