Hey Everyone,

Since upgrading to El Capitan I have been having sporadic WiFi issues. I will be using the computer and then randomly nothing will load. If I turn Wifi off then on it will not connect to my old network. I will have to wait 5 minutes or so and it will then reconnect if I manually tell it to connect to my network that is listed.

However, strangely this does not happen on my iPhone or my husbands Macbook also running El Capitan.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced these issues?

Thanks

I've had this issue on my 5K iMac. I followed these steps (it was for Yosemite but you can still follow the guide) and I *think* step No.1 solved it. http://osxdaily.com/2014/10/25/fix-wi-fi-problems-os-x-yosemite/
My issue involved trying to use AirDrop and in doing so would always kill my wifi connection, and I would need to turn wifi On and Off on the iMac. Now it seems to be working even when I use AD.
