Internal iMac blu-ray drive?

Quick question. I am looking to replace my internal Superdrive with a slot loading blu-ray drive and I'm wondering if people have any suggestions for what model to use. I have seen some on fastmac.com for over $1k and that's just way to much. Are there any other cheaper drives that could be used? I'm not interested in burning disks, just reading them. Thanks!

burning would be the least of your problems as that is supported by the burning software like toast , but so far to my knowledge there is no blue ray watching with OSX , unless you want to go back to windows you are out of luck

I know that I'm going to have to run windows to actually watch the movies, I'm just wondering if people have any suggestions for drives that would fit / are cheap? I've seen people talking about this one:

Most any 12.7mm slot loading optical drive will work in the iMac. Only the MBP systems require the 9.5mm drive. They are only $65-$100 on ebay.
