Hi guys, my dad has some issues with his 15' 2016 Macbook Pro - over the weekend we upgraded our internet connection to 10GB/s and moved around the property with the computer performing tests and the keyboard worked just fine.
The computer laid on the table until this morning when my dad picked it up and he notice the keyboard did not work, yet the TouchBar alongside TouchId and Trackpad are just fine. The usual restart did not help.

The things is that the caps lock LED does not light up so that tells me perhaps a loose cable is causing the issues ? And this is why i mentioned the whole internet upgrade thing - the computer was handled a lot and perhaps the cable could get loose ?
What do you think ?

Thanks

You can get the problem diagnosed for free at an Apple Store. Make a Genius Bar appointment and let them check it out.

Will an external keyboard work? Maybe you can run diagnostics and see if it detects the internal keyboard?
