Internal Microphone will not work on Windows Vista partion on mac.

I just bought a new MacBook pro 1 week old. I partioned my hard drive and installed a clean copy of Windows Vista Ultimate on one side. I then downloaded skype, but my internal microphone will not work. I tried everything. Can someone help me out with this issue.

It doesn't work for anyone. Apple has refused to fix the drivers. Your best bet would to be a usb microphone isn't that stupid?

Yes, I agree with you, I too have done some extensive research and you are right. Apple, so far refuse to do anything about this problem. That is sad. Hopefully they will come around sometime in the near future . Good luck

Thanks for the information. I spent about 1 hour on the phone yesterday with Apple and they did not have this information available. I am waiting for a response from their technician.

I will go buy a USB headset and microphone.
