Internal Speaker not working after upgrading CPU and RAM

I upgraded my CPU and RAM in my 2009 Mac Pro and now the internal speaker doesn't work, so I don't get the bong noise on startup....I also tried playing sounds through it in sound settings to see if it was just the startup noise or if it was the speaker. Is this normal?

You could try resetting your smc. I’ve had the same issue in the past.

Reset NVRAM and it works now
