Anyone had an issue with this? Volume was fine last night and woke up this morning with the volume greyed out and no internal speakers listed in the Sound part of System Preferences.

Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks!

try plugging headphones in the headphone jack, plug & unplug them, see if that 'restores' the internal speakers option...

Neither resetting the SMB, NVRAM or the headphone thing worked... Neither did repairing disk permissions. Needed to just reinstall and restore. Not a huge deal, but a strange and annoying bug
