I own a 9.7 inch iPad Pro. Some basic questions:

1. Can I use the US 5-volt AC block to charge this iPad? Is there any reason not to do so?

2. I see that the larger adapter is a 10-volt adapter. I have been using this to charge my iPad, and I believe this is the better choice, but I don't understand why.

3. Now that I am traveling to Europe, I have a 5-volt Type C (fiat with two round pins). This seems comparable to the US 5-volt, is that correct?

4. Finally, I guess I need a 10-volt version for Type C. Does Apple sell this product? Or is it available only as part of the Apple Travel Kit? Is it only available as standard block with international slide-in adapters, or is there an Apple product that is a single unit?

Basic questions, but I am confused and I welcome your explanation. Thank you.

1. Yes, you can use the 5W (5V/1A) charger. It takes forever to charge, though.

2. It should still be 5V, just higher amperage (2-2.4A) so 10-12W.

3. Do you mean a completely separate 5W charger? Probably. Just needs to output 5V/1A.

4. The actual charging block is the same as the US 10/12W charger. Instead of using the plug with two flat prongs though, they just use the plug with two round prongs. Don't think you can buy this in US, though. Best bet is to just buy the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit.

Or you can go the cheap route and buy a standard Type A to Type C plug adapter.

On 3, yes, a completely separate adapter. Thanks for the help.
