On my 2012 MacBook Pro, when I lock my laptop using Ctl + Shift + Eject, it puts the monitor asleep and "locks" my laptop, but the Internet still remains connected. So, for example, if I am recording a show, I can keep recording and yet leave my computer in a locked state so people can't snoop around.
On my 2015 Retina MBP, if I try the same thing, it seems that sometime during the screen being locked, I lose Internet connectivity. Not sure at what point this occurs?
How can I make my Retina mimic how my old MacBook works?
My old MacBook runs Mountain Lion and my Retina has Sierra on it.
