Internet has been acting weird since downloading latest security update.

ok so i recently downloaded the latest security update the day before yesterday and since then my internet has been acting up. i have a netgear router which has been working ok and it says i have a full signal but while browsing online it seems to take longer than usual. i also just started to use the latest version of Safari which also seems to lag. i used Firefox before that and never really had any problems other then sometimes it would not go to sites and i would try to close Firefox but it would not let me so i would have to force quit Firefox quite often. is that normal? also, i noticed that when i open iChat the program will open but it will take about 3 minutes before my buddy list loads up.

whats the deal?

don't know about the rest but i have that problem with Firefox! Command-Q doesn't work you have to close it from the dock or force quit... yet i still find it functions better than Safari (for me).

I feel the same way about opera. My browsing experience between the two doesn't correlate with Apple's bar graphs.
