Internet is working, but bittorrent is not working.

Hi!

I've been using bittorent for a week and it's been working fine until this morning. My internet connection is still working. I think my roommate did something to block me from using bittorrent from his computer. Is there any way to fix the problem? Is it a router issue? Do I need to change the port?

The default 6881 port (or whatever its at) for bittorrent stuff never works right. Check this out to fix it. Also try this for the port issue.

Some ISPs are beginning to throttle bittorrent traffic, as well. :\

nah, its actually that a lot of trackers block 6881-6889 and that on top of some clients doing that and ISPs throttling bittorrent traffic, those and other default p2p port numbers are probably the worst to use.
