Internet Problems on Win XP, boot camp

Everytime I go to play any type of online based game my internet seems to kinda fade in and out, and it eventually just disconnects, or tells me it's limited or no connectivity. From there I either reconnect to the internet manually or just repair it.

Please help.

I don't think it has anything to do with my Windows Firewall, since I have it disabled all the time. I use Avast AV, and disable their live AV services usually.

Info:
General - MacBook Pro labtop - Online games working just fine with internet while running on Mac mode. Games such as Runescape, Adventure Quest Worlds, and other Mac compatible games. - Boot Camp mode for Windows XP pro-when I run my pc in this mode, it is when I encounter my problems.
I have Avast live services disabled, and Windows firewall disabled.

(I)nternet(S)ervice(P)rovider - Verizon -> Router -> Wireless labtop
~Note: I'm not entirely sure of anytype of info of my ISP. Sry. Anyway to contact them without calling? Only warn me if this info is really needed.

Once I turn on or restart my pc as windows xp the internet is fine with my firefox web browser until I start playing any type of online game.(Adventure quest worlds, combat arms, Call of Duty 4 multilayer, Guild Wars, and any other online game)

Willing to team viewer a highly trusted member, or Mod/Admin+


Please tell me if you have any idea what my problem could be, as of my ISP, Firewall, a possible re installment/repair of bootcamp, virus, IP issues, or anything else.

Since this is only happening when you are running Windows, it is most likely a problem with your Windows setup. If you have your Leopard installation disc, I would reinstall your boot camp drivers. This may help if it is a driver issue with your WLAN (I assume you are wireless). Also, remove the network from your list of preferred networks and restart your computer. Then re-join your wireless network. I assume you are using DHCP and not static addresses. Hopefully this will resolve connectivity issues. If you experience similar failures on other computers, try checking for new firmware for your router.

EDIT:THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH, ALL I NEEDED TO DO AFTER ALL THIS TIME WAS REMOVE MY NETWORK FROM PREFERRED CONNECTIONS AND RE ENTER MY WEP SECURITY CODE!!! o_0 but ill still reinstall boot camp just incase there is still something wrong with it, once again,

Hey i forgot to mention that I believe the problem start or was originally started when I turned all battery settings to Never put pc in sleep, Never turn off monitor, never put pc in standby, never turn off hard drives. Then after those settings were changed I just left my pc on over night since I was doing a big download, I guess some error occured with the computer and it messed it up.

OFftopic: nice computer I just noticed ur signature about your mac. I running the default MacBook Pro 17 in. 2.49Ghz 2.98 GB Ram, NVIDIA GeForce 8800.

Similar problem - please help, I'm at my wits end

I have a 13" MacBook that is just a few months old and I have to run BootCamp at work. However, when I'm on the Windows side - my internet signal drops at random.. it seems to find the most convenient times as well. I was just doing an online prep exam and at it kicked out at question 72 of 100.

I have tried reinstalling the drivers, but cannot figure it out. We have a super secure wireless network in the office and I drop my signal on average 3-4 times a day. At my place, if I'm near the router - I don't have a problem. And at my gf's place - it's the worst, I drop the signal about 3-4 per hour.

Any suggestions?
