Anyone have any idea as to how long it takes for a submitted radio station to appear on their listings? I bought this app thinking I could listen to my local station only for it to not be in any of the three directories. I submitted it to the developers to add through their website last Thursday and it's still not there. I also emailed the developer but he hasn't replied.

No one?

Is this app anything like Wunderadio?

Yeah, just laid out different. Wunderradio is just okay, but it lists radio stations by state and country and city and whatever.

Internet Radiobox is the best one, I think. I've got about 10 of them.

Good enough. Based on your recommendation I just downloaded it.
(Usually when there are more one star ratings than there are five star ratings i shy away from an app. but will give this one a shot.)

And your verdict? They're all about the same, I just like the way Internet Radiobox is laid out. Wunderadio kept dropping synch, constantly.

I did mess around with this app last night and like it. The screens are easier to see and handle.
I don't have a problem with Wunder Radio as some others have but navigating to a desired radio station is a bit of a chore whereas this new app makes it a bit more seamless. Of course, once there both allow you to save the station.

RadioBox won't replace Wunder.... but it is an attractive alternative.

Who would have thought, ten years ago, you could listen to virtually any station in the world on your phone? I see only improvements with both apps in the future.

I haven't used it since day one because the developer has not answered my request to have a local station added to listings. Nor has he answered me email questioning the time it takes to add a local station to listings.

Which is why I haven't downloaded XM/Sirius yet. I have it in my truck which is good enough.

hi,
I'm sorry to hear that. The thing is there are so many station submissions from people over the world and the developer is permanently busy with reviewing them. There also are lot of false entries people make which have to be added manually. Maybe your entry had some issues the developer couldn't handle and so they just have to skip it because of lack of information and the busy time they have.

Right now they are working on an improvement to this issue.

The next issue is the customer support. There is a huge incoming of emails every day. At the moment the developer itself tries to answer them, maybe some of them got lost in the history. There are plans of an FAQ so the rate of email-requests could be reduced.

I hope you understand this situation. Please be patient with this matter.

btw. did you tried to post this issue on their own forum? This way we can react faster. :)

cheers
Eddy

I check the app out too

and if you like I will check your radio station on Wunder if you don't have it Funny how many of us get these radio apps so we can get our favorite local radio station streamed. if only we had a built in Tuner! but also nice to take a little bit of home where ever you go!

BTW I just Checked the App is on Sale 99 Cents! adding now!

UK Radio station - Radio City 96.7 FM.

The station is a popular station and I provided all the information required and in a supported format. There is no reason for this to not be added to the app. The app is useless for me without it.

Internet RadioBOX is the best solution as I think. It brings you independent, commercial, local and much more stations from all over the world. One of it's feature "RadioBOX Directory: browse by country, genre or search" may be helpful to fix your problem.I am not not sure but i think you can make a try.
