Internet sharing from airport to ethernet

Hello all. I am curious if this is possible. I want to:

1) Connect one mac running snow leopard to a wireless network.
2)Share the internet from that macs ethernet port to a wireless router.

Can anybody offer a solution? Or comment on if this is possible.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Sounds possible. If both wifi bases are near each other on the same band, it couldmbe a problem. They can be set to channels far apart and physically moved several feet apart.

I assume the router you which to connect will be setting up a separate network?

Anyway, setting up the Mac should be simple. Go to System Preverences > Sharing > Internet Sharing. Share From "wiFi", then add the medium you which to use in the box below. If not enabled, go to Network Preferemces and add Enet to the list of devices for that location. Then go back to Internet Sharing and add Enet to the "Computers using" box.

I think you could, but I wonder if you're going to connect the wifi signal to another wifi router (presumably to connect other wifi devices), why you don't just connect everything to the wifi in the first place?

If it's a range thing, maybe you should just get a wifi extender like an airport express. That way you would not need to constantly run the Mac just to provide wifi to other computers.
