I'm having a problem when I connect my 42" Plasma HD to my mid 2009 Mac Mini, the mini cannot connect to the internet via Airport. I have a 20'' Dell display connected to the Display port and the Plasma connected to the mini-DVI port and I'm running snow leopard. When I disconnect the plasma from the min-DVI port all goes back to normal and there is no Airport issue.
Please help.

so does airport work when not connected to the plasma ,
does it still work when you watch tv ? because then we could eliminate the plasma itself as cause of the interruption of the airport connection

Ya, if works fine when the plasma is not connected. As soon as it's connected to the plasma the airport has issue's connecting to the router.

I don't have a current Mini but I'm very curious about this. So, if I understand correctly you have a Mini-DVI and a Mini-DislayPort? And the Airport works with the DVI, but but not both?

Have you tried with just the DVI attached?

Also, can you post your Airport info from the Profiler both working and not working?

I'm wondering if using both displays requires an extra PCI Express lane, maybe the Airport has to give one up...

Thinking about it, can you send me the whole profiler dump for when it's working and not working?

Thanks,

I'll be away for Christmas, so I can't do anything about this until next week. When I get back I'll set it up and post the info.

Thanks again Transeau and Happy Christmas.
