iPhone 12 Pro Max Interrupted voice calls

Me and my friend have bought the new iPhone 12 pro max and I’m receiving from my friends who I called or I’ve got called, the info that my voice is interrupted sometime. And this is on normal phone calls, Facebook messenger, WhatsApp or any other app where I’m using speaker.
if I use AirPods I don’t have any issue.
I tried to call Apple support but there are also issues and I couldn’t speak to much with them..but the hint was to reset my 3 weeks old iPhone..
I don’t know if the interrupted voice is from the hardware or software...iOS 14.2.1
Maybe someone has an idea why is this happening ?

I am having exactly the same issue with my new IPhone 12 Pro. One of my friend has and Iphone 11 Pro and got the same.

About iPhone 11 Pro never heard of this issue but I suppose a few thousand iPhones back to apple it should be taking care of ???

So. Im coming back with Update of this issue.

I’ve contacted Apple and I tested my microphones...
1. Record your voice with voice memo and play it...if is not interrupted than is ok
2. Record yourself speaking with front camera...play the video, hear if is interrupted
3. Record your room or something else with you speaking in the background with back camera...play the video, hear if is interrupted.
If your voice isn’t interrupted in all 3 tests that means that all microphones are fine and is not a hardware issue. In case of one test failed, please contact apple support.
Next iOS release 14.3 should be out soon...they said but a few more patches for 14.2 will come out till new iOS. I think that iOS 14.3 is coming in February or March.

I agree 100% for Monday. Apple may not have all the 14.2 bugs fixed but, they won’t delay 14.3 due to Fitness+ debut on Monday.

I have the newest 14.3 and unfortunately still the same issue, during calls I have many moments with a small silence, so I do miss a bit of the conversation, almost every call fails in the end with a long silence and a disconnected call... very annoying, im not going to reset anything, i dont want to loose my wifi passwords or other things... I hope Apple will fix this soon...

I have been in Apple store for a check by Genius Bar and they tested my Iphone, every bit of it and showed everything was perfect with my iPhone. They reset my iPhone and they’re updated my software as it wasn’t and said should be fine, but unfortunately I still have this issue and I don’t understand why.

My wife is having the same issue with her's and I'm not sure if mine is affected too.

It's very annoying, I hope Apple will fix it. Luckily I didn't reset everything, reading here that it has no impact.
