I have an interview at my local Apple retail store for a inventory specialist position today and I'm a bit nervous!

If anyone has had an interview for this position or any other position and would like to share their experience as of how the one on one interview went I would appreciated! Just anything that would help do better on the interview!

Also how should I dress? I've read only to dress casual and to not dress casual so I really don't know.

Thanks to everyone in advanced!

I'd say were Khakis, a Polo shirt, and mildly professional shoes (ie not sneakers or sandals). Find a good barber (not a stylist) in your area to give you a clean haircut and a real shave the morning of the interview. Have some questions prepared. Use the interviews last name "Mr./Ms. Jones" unless they say to use their first or their first name is emphasized upon introduction. When greeting shake hands, look them in the eye and say something along the lines of "It's a pleasure to meet you" or "I've been looking forward to meeting you". After the interview write not type a thank you not.

Thank you for the tips! I just got a haircut yesterday so I'm good to go in that aspect! As far as question to ask them what would consider to be good questions to ask? Also what questions should I expect from them for this position?

Thanks

I would assume they would use a behavioral interview so you may want to take a look at "How to Prepare for and Rock a Behavioral Job Interview". As for questions to ask perhaps take a look at "Questions You Should Ask in Your Job Interview".

What worked for me best when interviewing for jobs was when I thought about all the negative aspects of the job. Then once the interview started I know longer cared. Thus I no longer was nervous about the interview and could speak in a normal relaxed conversation with the interviewer, as I would to someone a bud introduced me too.

Though it has been quite a while since I've been interviewed for a job as I've been self employed for several years now.

just tell them that the occasion missing box is not a big deal.

Ask them how much is the employee discount? and when can you get it?
When do you get a raise?
Tell them you need evenings and weekends off.
tell them you can only work with MBA's b/c you cant lift more then 3 lbs.
Ask if you can wear the microsoft t shirt instead of the blue apple one
Ask since Apple is a California based company do they provide weed for the employees during breaks for medicinal purposes?
Ask how long before you'll be promoted to Steve's second hand man?
