Inverted colors/pictures

I set phone to inverted colors. a photo I had looked Really cool. I shared on Facebook, instagram all of them , thinking this is awesome. So after I set phone back to normal, I check posts and the photos turned out to be the original..
Why can't you save/change a photo with inverted colors set?

Maybe inverted colors only applies to the display, not camera or photos. You might find a photo app that will have an "inverted color" filter

Yes
All you did was to change the display characteristics. So everything on the screen was in reversed colors.
Reversing the screen colors shows you a photo with reversed colors, but you would notice that everything on the screen is reversed, not just the picture.
So, that does not affect your actual pictures in any way, the originals remain safe (which is what you would want, eh?)

If you want to edit the colors of a picture, you would need a photo editing app.
