iOS 10.0.1 and Airdrop

anyone else's having issues with airdrop. I'm running iOS 10.0.1 on an iPhone 7 Plus and tried using Airdrop to send a few photos to someone and it didn't work. She's still running iOS 9. It only saw her device when we switched her device to receive from everyone. I tried sending to my ipad as well and my phone wasn't able to see the iPad either.

I have tried it with MAcbook and it worked. iPhone 7, iOS 10.01

AirDrop is crap, or in short AirCrap ... it never works when you need it !!! The only way to try and correct an AirCrap problem is to reboot both devices and, if possible, the router.

It's never worked for me on iOS 9.3.5.
