Just got my iPhone 7 Plus a few days ago and realized that every time I kill an app in the app switcher and switch back to my home screen, the status bar disappears for a second or two before coming back. It's weird because this isn't happening on all other phones I've tested (iPhone SE, 6 Plus, 6s Plus). Normally the status bar just comes back right away with the clock and all but right now I always have to wait a second or two before I can see them.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes, I am also noticing it! I already filed a bugreport about it, please do so, too!

By the way: You don't even have to "kill" an app to reproduce that glitch.
Just open an app and doubleclick homebutton to bring up app switcher, then switch to homescreen and the status bar pops in about 1 or 2 seconds to late. If you switch from one app to another, the behavior is as it should be. Also if you switch from homescreen to homescreen via app switcher...

iPhone 7+ 256GB with iOS 10.0.2 I'm not seeing this behavior on my phone.
Try opening settings. Doubleclick homebutton to bring up app switcher. Tab on homescreen in app switcher.
The status bar (battery, time, etc.) now pops in about a second to late. Happens on every iPhone 7 / 7plus.

Same problem with my 7 plus on 10.2.1, did anyone found a solution? should I ask for replacement for the device or is it a common issue?

I have that same phone. 7plus with 256mb and the status bar will not stay on the home screen. It appears in the apps through the app switcher but then it goes from white to black to gone in seconds.
