I think there is a slight chance that it will come today or at least on friday, so developers and public beta testers can start testing the Bokeh-feature of the new iPhone 7 Plus. I think it's called "Portrait" in Camera.app.

probably end of september or early november... similar schedule as 8.1 betas since 9.1 betas we saw the same day as 9.0 GM was released.
