Hello,

After updating my iPhone 6S to iOS 10.1 and also my iMac to 10.12.1, when trying to call my son (who is in my Contacts and has an Android phone), when I dial his number in contacts or in Phone > Favorites, it dials the wrong telephone number. I discovered this last night while trying to message text him from the iMac as I usually do. I kept sending him texts on Messages and I received a reply that said, "who is this?". When I dialed my son's phone number, the iPhone kept dialing a wrong number. I was able to fix the problem (or so it seemed) by deleting his contact information from my iMac and iPhone (both share Contacts via iCloud) and reentering his contact information. I got my phone to dial and text the correct number by doing this. My contacts are also linked to my Google Gmail account so I also went to Gmail and deleted and reentered his account there also. That's the way it was last night.

However tonight, I picked up my iPhone and dialed his number by going to Phone > Favorites and touching his contact icon as I normally do, when I did, I got the same wrong number even though my son's phone information is correct in my Contacts. But yet, I was able to text him on both my iPhone and iMac in Messages just fine.

I'm puzzled as to why my phone (not me) keeps dialing the wrong number? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks!
