Hi, where to begin. When I swipe up my control center doesn't respond/appear. It's as though it has disappeared. When I swipe down, my messages/alerts don't show up anlonger. I see alerts when I pick up the phone but once I press the home button to access the phone then swipe down my messages/alerts don't show up, but I get a something I haven't seen before, I get a search window, and below that says siri suggestions, show less. It looks like it is displaying the recent apps that I used. Below the apps is a key board. If I didn't know any better I swear this phone doesn't belong to me. Now when I swipe the screen it is slow to respond or doesn't move at all, and I have to make several attempts to move around on the phone. It is driving me crazy. I never had an issue with this phone, but since the last upgrade which wasn't long ago my phone started with these issues.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Perhaps you aren't swiping from the very top or bottom edges of the phone? It sounds like you are perhaps bringing up spotlight search instead of getting Notification Center. Have you tried restarting your phone?

I have had this phone since they came out so I'm swiping the same way as always which is from the top. I have restarted this phone numerous times. I'm ready to flush this thing, lol.

Case and/or screen protector that might be in play?

Might want to try resetting all settings if not even restoring if nothing else is doing the trick.

Resetting all settings worked, thanks!
