iOS 10.2 hdmi adapter problems

i was jailbroken on 9.3.2 with no issues connecting my phone to my tv via the hdmi adapter. No that I've updated to 10.2 it no longer works no matter what tv or cable I use. The adapter still works on my iPad which is on iOS 9 ( not sure of the exact version right now). Any one else having this issue?

Phone is iPhone 6 Plus.

Buy an Apple TV and do it via Airplay. Even the 3 would be enough and you can get it quite cheap by now.

Would rather use the adapter. Already have a Xbox and smart tv plus my phone. I really don't want to buy another streaming device. Am I the only person having this issue or am I the only person still using the hdmi adapter lol.

iOS 10.3 may fix this. Right now on beta 3, it lists fixing a video out problem.

I don't want to lose my jailbreak. I'll just use my iPad for now. Just happy I held off updating it.
