There's always that possibility too. Or the possibility that it is planned but not for 10.3. Or that it was planned for 10.3 but wasn't quite ready in time. Etc., etc., etc.
Now I am sure "Theatre Mode" will be an iOS 11 and iPhone 8 exclusive feature...
Perhaps deadlines weren't missed? Perhaps it wasn't part of the first beta or this release at all? Perhaps plenty of reasonable and rational explanations that could apply?
Even if all 10.3 does is fix the litany of remaining bugs from earlier iOS 10 releases, I'd be happy.
Well, I'm confused as where the Jan 10 came from, why that date?
This is all under an assumption some leaker, regardless of who he is or isn't, was correct/credible about timeframe for release or features to begin with.
No one has ever corroborated any of the info.
It adds no benefit to the current iphone with LCD tech. No power savings, notta. Unlike say nighshift which adds a noticeable benefit to current displays on all iOS devices.
If they go OLED then it will likely pop up in the iOS11 beta to test in advance of an OLED iphone being released.

Someone mentioned some internal date to someone (which is the likely possibility there, not counting just someone guessing/assuming something). It doesn't really have to mean anything one way or another.
Are you freaking serious? Find my AirPods is the biggest update with iOS 10.3?! Such BULL****!
