A few days/cycles are needed before some decent idea of general/average battery life can be formed.

I hv the mini 2 also. Curious how it will run on 10.3. Some iphone 5s users are reporting good result. Most likely will be the same for mini 2.

Both my mini 2 and 5s are running considerably better than the previous update.
They weren't bad before but everything is smoother. Very happy so far!

10.2.1 made it a little slow. My fiancé has the iPad mini 2 but hasn't downloaded it yet, so he's kind of wondering how it is too.

I had an iPad Air but couldn't stand the lag so I upgraded to a Pro 9.7. Big difference. :) also loving the 4 speakers and the improvement on camera plus the flash.

My fiancée is still on iOS 9.3.5. I told her to hold off on updating her Mini 2 until things are bit smoother with iOS 10. I'm thinking that now is probably the time to update.

My ipad mini 2 runs flawless and snappy. No need to worry as I'm totally satisfied, no issues. I have no reason to believe that yours will encounter problem with this update. I did OTA, make sure ur battery is charge at least 70%.

like a pile of doo doo

1GB RAM is not enough for iOS 10. It ran OK on iOS 7... now its barely usable.

Want to take notes while watching a video? Good luck.
Want to switch between Safari and Messages without having to reload webpages? Yeah, right.

It's "OK" if you do one thing at a time (like read a book or browse a single page) but beyond that it's a pretty frustrating experience.
