Hi all!

Okay, so I sea a vídeo on YouTube passing geekbench 4 on his iPhone 5 so I tried with my iPhone 7 and according to Geekbench charts it shows a 6% gain in singlecore and a 7 percent in multicore, which seems far from the 2/3% normal variations. Can anyone test their phones to verify that? Thanks in advance!

I'm on a 6S.

10.2.1: 2502 SC, 4180 MC

10.3: 2509 SC, 4203 MC

No improvement here.

My Antutu score went down from 193,XXX to 175,XXX. Pretty big drop.

Decrease on Antutu here as well. (it's weird I did it around the same time and had the same signal as the last time I did the test. LOL!)

About same for Geekbench. Though I don't have previous scores.

I don't have Geekbench 4 but my Geekbench 3 scores went to absolute hell on my iPhone 6:

iOS 9.0: 1614/2889
iOS 10.3: 873/1451

I haven't checked since iOS 9.0, but this is horrendous.

You might need the newer geekbench.

Oh synthetic benchmarks.

Don't worry they will update the AnTuTu app for iOS 10.3 and your scores (and thus performance lol) will return to your phone.

I've found Geekbench and AnTuTu a like to be similar in their uselessness. I've had the largest variants in scores from their app updates which to me renders them meaningless. Only time I've found them to be useful is verifying there is a problem when the system feels slow/off but thats generally on a computer.

I'd be curious what @fmalloy scores are in Geekbench 4.

I was just using the scores on the geekbench official charts as the guy from youtube had that boost in his mobile as well, but cant compare to my same mobile in 10.2.1 though

Mmmmm,... I think in this case it may be deeper than that. I can definitely see studdering in the graphics part of the test that weren't there on 10.2.1.

There very well could be, I can't speak for everyones experience. I forgot I updated my phone (iPhone 6S) last night until around 2pm today. So for me everything "seems" ok, fairly impressed actually that the underlying file system was replaced without me noticing.

Which iPhone do you have? Have you tried the obligatory reset yet? Lol

I have, lol. Clean install, manually installing my apps. 7+. I just installed 10.3.2, no difference.

iOS 10.3.1 here the graphics performance has taken nose dive, my 6s running 10.2 shows no lag whereas my 7 plus running 10.3.1 is laggy as ****.
